- Marianne Tillmans grew up with books. Her father was an author and publishing director. The smell of books and printer's ink shaped her childhood. Years ago, she made her first attempt to write her own book. But it was never finished. No time. Five children, a husband, a large household, returning to work as a care service manager - it all filled her days to the brim. She retired at the end of 2018 and now lives with her husband on the Upper Rhine. And new perspectives are opening up. Time at last!
