- Marianne Tillmans grew up with books. Her father was an author and publishing director. The smell of books and printing ink shaped her childhood. Years ago, she made her first attempt to write her own book. But it was never finished. No time. Five children, a husband, a large household, returning to work as a care service manager - it all filled her days to the brim. She retired at the end of 2018 and now lives with her husband on the Upper Rhine. And new perspectives are opening up. Time at last! Time that she can freely dispose of, for her thoughts and life reflections, for all the projects she has been putting off... Especially for writing!
