The continent of Erduin, populated by humans, dwarves, elves, orcs and gnomes, has for some time been inhabited by a new race, the half-breeds. First and foremost are the half-dwarves, hybrids of humans and dwarves, who are appearing more and more frequently. These half-dwarves usually live a life away from the big cities and royal castles. Often outcast loners and belonging to no clan, they eke out a living as thieves, day laborers and mercenaries. Until one day the world of one of these half-dwarves is shaken by war and the hordes of orcs descend on his village.
