This dissertation on the topic "Bosnia-Herzegovina and Rwanda in comparison - the political and social situation before and after the wars between 1990 and 1995" was initially written out of my own interest in the topic and my interest as a future historian. I wrote my master's thesis on the social and political situation in Rwanda from the arrival of the whites until Rwanda's independence in 1962. After independence, Rwanda experienced social and political upheavals that ended with the genocide of the Tutsi and other serious human rights violations. I wanted to do extensive research to find out how politics changed society. With this in mind, I also compared the political and social situation with Bosnia-Herzegovina, a country that experienced almost the same situation as Rwanda in the same period from 1990 to 1995.
